Acceptable Use

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out the rules and guidelines for using Trellis (the "Service"), a video recording and sharing platform designed for fitness coaches and professionals. By using the Service, you agree to follow this AUP. This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

Trellis is built to support professional fitness coaching activities, such as recording and sharing workout demonstrations, form checks, client feedback, and personalized training videos. We encourage responsible uses that align with these professional purposes.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities:

• Upload, record, share, transmit, or generate any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, or tortious.
• Upload, share, or generate content that contains explicit sexual material, nudity, pornography, or any material that is harmful to minors.
• Depict, promote, or incite violence, hate speech, discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic, terrorism, or other illegal activities.
• Infringe intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets (e.g., uploading copyrighted material without authorization).
• Impersonate any person or entity, falsely represent your affiliation, or misrepresent the origin of content.
• Transmit spam, malware, viruses, worms, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks, including overloading, scraping, or using automated tools without permission.
• Access or attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or features without authorization.
• Use the Service for commercial purposes unrelated to fitness coaching (e.g., mass advertising, unrelated promotions) without our explicit permission.
• Record, upload, or share videos containing individuals without obtaining necessary consents where required by law (e.g., privacy laws regarding recording in personal spaces or gyms).
• Use AI features to generate harmful, misleading, inaccurate, or illegal content.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations, including data protection, consumer protection, or health-related regulations.

User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for all content you upload, record, share, or generate using the Service ("User Content").
• You must ensure your use complies with all applicable laws, including obtaining consents for recording and sharing videos of individuals, and respecting privacy and data protection requirements.
• In fitness coaching contexts, you must prioritize client privacy, obtain informed consents for recordings, and avoid sharing sensitive health information without permission.
• Review and verify all AI-generated outputs (e.g., transcriptions, analysis, recommendations) before relying on or sharing them.
• Do not use the Service in a way that could harm minors or vulnerable individuals.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Monitor, review, or scan User Content for compliance with this AUP (while respecting privacy where possible).
• Remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP, without prior notice.
• Suspend or terminate your account for violations, with or without notice.
• Report suspected illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.
• Update this AUP at any time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of changes.

Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, permanent termination, or other actions as we deem appropriate.

Reporting Violations

If you believe content or activity violates this AUP, please report it to support at trellis.fit. Include details such as links to the content and a description of the issue.

We take reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
